JOHN JANNONE

     After Karel is an audiovisual work inspired by the prints of Dutch artist and typographer Karel Martens. Martens' painstaking prints made using found objects are the essence of simplicity and commitment. In making a generative sound and motion graphics project inspired by his images, I am transferring the painstaking detail of the physical act of printmaking to the differently painstaking act of multimedia programming.
